Annie Meek Montgomery (Director, This Car Ride Suckss)
Annie is an actor, director and teaching artist. She wrote and directed The Red Dress which was performed at University Settlement and at the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural and Educational Center. She also wrote and directed Spellbound Theatre Company’s production of Memory at the Jalopy theatre, and has directed for New York University’s New Plays for Young Audiences. She acted last summer in Piper’s Production of Splitfoot that went to the Edinburgh Theatre Festival, and last fall was in the one woman show Walking Toward America at the United Solo Festival. She has performed Off-Broadway in the lead role of Lisa in That Ilk, and in several regional productions at The George Street Playhouse, The Hangar Theatre, Cincinnatti Playhouse in the Park, and others. She is an active teaching artist and works for The New Victory Theatre and Lifetime Arts.
