Fiddler on the Roof Jr. Book by Joseph Stein, Music by Jerry Bock, Lyrics by Sheldon Harnick. Directed by Ryan Michele Healey. Musical Direction by Megan Jonynas.
This summer will mark Piper’s third musical journey! Fiddler on the Roof Jr is the story of Tevye – a fiercely devout (and fiercely stubborn!) milkman, and his quest to raise his five daughters in accordance with his strong belief in the power of “TRADITION!” Living in the small Russian village of Anatevka, Tevye, his neighbors, and his family soon find that the world around them is changing too fast for anyone to hold fast to their traditions – and maybe even to their homes.
