A Piper Fundraiser

Friday, May 24th and Saturday, May 25th - 7 pm and 11 pm

By Stephen Belber
Directed by Mollie Lief Abramson
Assistant Directed by John P. McEneny

Starring Vasile Flutur, Aaron Novak and Ashley Spivak

TAPE tells the story of two former best friends from high school, Jon, an aspiring filmmaker and Vince, a dope-dealing volunteer firefighter, who meet up for the weekend in their hometown of Lansing, Michigan. Over the course of the evening, the ten-year high school reunion slides inexorably from friendly catch-up conversation into disturbing interrogation. Beneath its suspenseful, high-stakes action, TAPE examines questions of motive, memory, truth and perception.

Frankenstein

On a chilled night, a brilliant young scientist brings a corpse back to life.  Piper’s take on Mary Shelley’s classic tale of horror will be augmented by live music and six original rear film projections.  Each film offers a glimpse into the mystery of the man behind the Creature.  One film will be released each week leading to the opening night of Frankenstein, July 5th.

We begin with “One”.
